This unit was developed for the plant extraction and separation industry in mind. Many processes rely on the separation of molecules via short path distillation with the use of a wiped film distiller.

The unit consists of the reactor, cooling traps , a hot oil circulator (max 210 deg C) as well as a stirring mechanism which operates under vacuum.

With the use of vacuum, the boiling point of liquids can be lowered.
