These reactors are designed as Photo BioReactors.

Heating is done from underneath with a hot plate with PID feedback conrol. The system is not jacketed in order to get maximum light penetration through the glass walls. Light panels are mounted on the side of the reactor.

Stainless steel baffles inside the reactor creates much better stirring and gas absorption. The volume is much more homogenous with this type of stirring.

The units on the pictures are a 2L and  a 5L capacity. 

The reactor can be easily removed by sliding the lid vertical via the linear bearing system. Once lifted, the hand knob fixes the slide temporary.
