2-5L Jacketed reactor
This system has the following peripherals.
- Mechanically mounted stirrer system mounted on the lid. This whole section can be slided vertically up via a linear bearing system. Stirrer shafts can be exchanged by hand with the help of a collet tightening system.
- Ph measure and control , the ph probe can be selected on conditions of operation. Low ph values and higher temperatures needs more specialized probes.
- Peristaltic pumps for fluid handling or continuous reagent feed. The pumps are programmable for such functions. Syringe pumps can be used to add small amount of reagents at a controlled rate.
- Chilling capability to compensate for exothermic reactions. (External chilled fluid can be pumped through a heat exchanger mounted on the side of the hot oil/water circulator). A servo valves opens the chilling water line according to a set max temperature which must not be exceeded.
- All components can be chemically inert, should it be necessary. Thus glass and PTFE coated stainless steel.
