These reactors are gas tight and designed for anaerobic work where the gas production needs to be monitored and measured over time. Stirring is done via a magnetic coupled stirrer shaft. Ph, Dissolved oxygen , conductivity and integrated gas production is measured.

Our units are from 1L up to 20L capacity and can have the following peripherals.

Stirring under air tight conditions (we use a special magnetic drive developed in house)

Measure and control ph from ph2 - ph14.

Measure dissolved oxygen and conductivity.

Temperature control via either a hot oil/water circulator, heating mantle of water bath.

Air production measurement via either a tipping cup, air replacement of liquid or a massflow sensor.

Logging of all data on a SD card on a .CSV format.

2L Jacketed system with gas production measurement

This unit has a 2L jacketed reaction vessel with a magnetic coupled stirrer bearing for air tight stirring. We can make the reactor up to 5L jacketed.

The temperature is controlled via a hot oil/ water circulator with pid temperature control.

Gas production is measured by replacing a water column with air produced. This method is ideal if only the total gas production needs to be monitored.

6 Place bio digester with individual gas production logging

This unit can be made in either a 6 place as in the picture or up to a 12 place.

Stirring is done via individual stirrer motors mounted on Schott bottles. In this case 1000ml bottles. The stirring mechanism is air tight to ensure accurate gas production rates.

The temperature is controlled via a stirred warm water bath that can go up to 80 deg C.

Each reactors gas production is measured via a novel tipping cup system with a 2.5ml resolution. The gas production of each reactor is measured and logged over time on to a SD card via a .CSV file.

Sampling can be done via extra ports with septums on the reactors.

These units can be made from a 1L up to a 20 L.

Heating and temperature control is done via a heating mantle with PID temperature feedback control.

Stirring is done via a magnetic coupled stirrer bearing. The reactor head is mounted onto a linear bearing to easily slide the reactor lid (with all sensors) upwards and then to temporary lock into position. The bottom flask can then be easily removed.
